Why we exist.

Graduate careers can seem daunting to any student, but when you’re faced with systemic discrimination, career progression can seem impossible. We exist to help young Black talent on their career journeys by supporting aspirations, providing invaluable career advice and connecting them to graduate opportunities.

What we do.

The Broadcasts is a not-for-profit initiative, by Hype Collective, that collaborates with Black students, Black talent and employer brands to create events, workshops and content geared at getting more young Black talent into graduate roles.

Upcoming event: Mapping out Tech

What is it?

When you think of Tech, you might have certain misconceptions. Mapping out Tech is here to tell you that the Tech industry is so much larger than what you might see and the opportunities are endless.

Tune in to hear Barclays, Accenture and Alfa Systems talk about how to succeed in the Tech industry as young black talent. They’ll also shed light on opportunities you didn’t even know were possible in the Tech industry.

What is it?

Getting into the finance industry can seem daunting and it’s easy to feel as if there’s only one type of job to apply for. With guest speakers from ICAEW and PwC, they’ll share tips for young black talent to break into the industry.

They’ll also shed light on the side of accountancy that you don’t often see, discussing the variety of paths you can take your career in the industry, that you never expected.
